FESSH Research Fellowship 2024 – NEW

With the new FESSH Research Fellowship we want to stimulate, assist and foster scientific thinking and scientific working in hand surgery for all surgeons both young and established, who are members of the national societies represented by FESSH.
A one-week stay in a dedicated research department of a European hand surgical center is offered to create a forum for exchanging information, techniques and concepts in Europe and help spread research experience.
For the 2024 Research Fellowship the hosting research group is the department of plastic, reconstructive and hand surgery of the Erasmus University Medical Center in Rotterdam, working together with the Hand Wrist Study Group. Date of visit: 18-25 June 2024.

Hand in Hand with Ukraine 21 December 19.30 CET

FESSH in cooperation with BSSH offers free webinars related to war injuries for helping the Ukrainian colleagues dealing with the injured in the war.
The last event in the series will be held on 21 December 2023 19.30 (CEST) via Zoom.

Shark Tank Award 2024

Sponsored by KLS Martin the Shark Tank Award is again awarded at the annual FESSH Congress in Rotterdam to the best novel idea focusing on sustainability in hand surgery. The award is €10.000 for the 1st prize, and €5.000 for the 2nd and 3rd prizes each.
